Errol Flynn got into a bit of controversy back in the day, nothin bad by today’s standards, but the lasting legacy of that controversy is that the colossus that was Errol Flynn has been wiped erased from history. Lest we Forget.
Flynn was the original swashbuckler and the best. All Hollywood movies of the time attempted to cast Flynn and where they failed they attempted to cast a lead that looked close in proportion and feature to Flynn. But they never quit conveyed the essence of Flynn. Stars of the time keep cropping up on TV late at night in old black and white movies: but never Flynn. He made plenty of good movies … the best movies…Yet they are no where to be seen! Why has Flynn not been kept in the zeitgeist? Why has Errol Flynn been buried and who is responsible? Fuck Hollywood: Long Live Errol Flynn!
