UNEMPLOYMENT
Ironically weight gain occurs with unemployment. Self esteem goes down, the emotional pain incurred, causes one to eat more than they should. One goes into the supermarket not with an eye on frozen foods for fast microwaving, because time is now available for leisure and one ends up looking around at all the gourmet foods and ingredients and dreaming up exquisite concoctions and delicsious new dinners and lunches. Desert now becomes a matter of importance: Mango and sugar-cream sorbet, gulped satisfyingly down with sugary crumbley apple crumble. The hot and cold contrast in a deliscious dilemma. Two giant porterhouse steaks and a kilo of mash potato! A selection of American and wholegrain mustard and oregano and olive oil. Fetta cheese olives, atlantic Salmon and lemon squeezed fresh! This is unemployment in the modern times. Sure beats a potato famin huh? |
