Facial Structure and Attractiveness

Consider the stars. They are our most attractive people. They all have in common, several aspects their appearances. See below some rough sketches of 1 Muhumod Ali, 2, Leonardo DiCaprio, 3 Ralph Fiennes and 4 a generic archetypal attractive face.

Attractiveness is the mixture of symmetry with efficiency in the human form. Look at Ali's brow and cheek. You can see that were a twobefour (a blunt plank of wood) to be struck against his brow cheek bone area, his crow-magnon brow and high cheek bone would take the blow. They jut out so far as to protect they eye from blunt trauma. This is the purpose of the cheek bone and the brow. They protect the eye. In picture 2, see the relationship of the square to the jaw line of DiCaprio. His whole face is a construction of squares and triangles. In fact if you view the profile of Leonardo DiCaprio it becomes obvious that the brow and chin bone offer a protective contact set which would well pass my "twobyfour" test. If he got smacked in the head front on vertically by a flat surface say the ground or a wall, the contact points of the impact (Disregarding the nose which is not a structural protection) would be the chin and the brow. What is this in aid of? Why did the gods of evolution design the optimum face thus?? Because this structural arrangement protects the teeth and the eyes from damage. No teeth no eat; no eye no live. Thus the attractiveness in the human instinct of the portruding chin the deep set eyes covered by a low brow the high prominent cheek bones. Have you ever wondered why attractive people and athletes often have some or all of these features? Its because we are hard wired to love these golden rules of human architecture.
