The community and you

You are born by the community and nourished by it too. You need the community; but it does not need you. Its structure its invisible strangle hold over the destiny of the individual is an offer that can only be realistically refused in favor of a better way, by a fortunate talented and intelligent few. The majority, you and me, we do the 8 hour days. Don't be lazy; work hard, don't frown, smile, don't question, follow the flow, don't be different; do as others do, don't question the cornerstones of your smiling prison; they are your boundaries. Boundaries given you by your community, subtly developed by your interaction with the community and its hall marks of calibration. And my what riches are on offer! The gleaming cities jam-packed to overflowing with luxury cars, the clean water and regular garbage collection.
