Financial crisis is exactly 1 year old today So the financial crisis is exactly 1 year old today. This prompts me to ask you the fundamental question: What is money and where does it come from? The first thing that needs to be realised by everyone including you, is that all money in the world originates from America. Specifically from a special unique bank called "The Federal Reserve" The Fed, as its known is a really dodgy shifty kind of a bank. Basically: get this, the Fed makes its own money out of thin air. As far as I know its the only entity in the world that is accepted by the world community to do this. If you or I made our own money - we'd be in deep shit. But the Fed is allowed to. The Fed is a private bank! It's name sounds like its a public organisation, Federal...But no its a private money making company and its privately owned by some very lucky very rich individuals and families. In terms of power, the Fed has more power over the whole world than even the American president.
