Getting What you want - The Alpha Male versus you. In the heart of every man exists an instinct to search out the finest beauty and make her his. Yet only the Alpha Male ape may satisfy his desire. The other apes go with desire unquenched. This for them is a terrible predicament.
As for the alpha male ape, the females willingly present themselves reclined and ready and his personal power ensures the enablement of his will should an attack be launched by a rival ape. He is the Alpha because he is the strongest. And this horror transfers precisely to human culture. And so it is that an ugly man weak and unintelligent may come across a beauty and know that despite his instinct complaining loudly through love madness - he stands no chance, and moreover to his detriment and his excruciating chagrin he knows that other guys abound with better qualifications than he. Particularly the sight of an Alpha Male success with the object of his madness just after he has failed to gain her interest - is the icing on the cake of this indescribably horrific experience. Where he has desired and failed an Alpha Male has desired and succeeded. So you find that although you cannot reach the heights of the million dollar prizes, you can jump high enough to reach the low lieing prizes...But they are in the lowly order of 10 or 20 dollars. What good are they, you need not bother! To make it clear, the best women are reserved for the Alpha Males. So then the question is: How to reconcile the huge desire with the nominal ability to satisfy the desire? And unfortunately there is no answer. This is an impossible situation. If we are to play by the rules of evolution we are to admit that we are defeated by our circumstance. What good is a man to himself if he cannot gain a beauty for himself? This is of course the reason why prostitution exists. But this is not a solution at all.
